Elementary Spanish Guide

Susie’s  eldest son began at RMS in 2018 in Toddlers.  She and her  husband fell in love with the teaching, support, and experiences offered to students at RMS.  Her youngest son began at RMS in 2021.  She loves how RMS and Montessori education incorporates language learning at the earliest levels and builds from there.  She has been teaching Spanish since 2009, initially at the university level and then Pre-k through grade 8 at a local private school. She has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in  Spanish and History from Knox College in Galesburg, Illinois and a Master’s in Spanish, Language Teaching Emphasis from the University of Missouri, Columbia. She attended MOCARLA (Center for Advanced Research on Language Acquisition) workshop in the summer of 2021 and was a TEAM (Teaching Excellence in Action in Minnesota) scholar in the summer of 2021. In her spare time she enjoys reading, watching soccer, and spending time with family.
